The Inns of Sanibel Survived The Storm – Hurricane Ian Update 10.12.22

October 12, 2022

The Inns of Sanibel Beach & Golf Resorts and The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club were relieved to learn all our team members were safe following the devastating effects of Hurricane Ian. Our thoughts are with all those impacted by the storm.

We are grateful to our first responders, the City of Sanibel, Sanibel and Captiva Fire, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Lee County and all those who support recovery efforts. As a community, we stand together and begin the long road to healing and recovery. As a hospitality business, we look forward with hope as we begin to rebuild our properties to higher standards of excellence than ever before. We can’t wait to share our plans with you.

Guests with existing reservations are being advised of the status of their deposits and ability to modify bookings. If you have questions regarding an upcoming stay, please contact us at (888) 295-4562.

A projected reopening timeline is currently being developed; stay tuned for updates on our progress. It is only through all our collective efforts that recovery will occur, allowing our properties and Sanibel Island to return to its beautiful splendor.

We are stronger together and support the works of these incredible agencies, as well others, that provide disaster aid/relief.
