DIRECTIONS…How do I get to The Inns of Sanibel?

DIRECTIONS FROM RSW Regional SW International Airport – Merge onto I-75 N. Take exit 131 toward Cape Coral. Merge onto Daniels Pkwy. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto 6 Mile Cypress Pkwy. Continue onto Gladiolus Dr. Use the left lane to merge onto County Rd 869 S/Summerlin Rd via the ramp to Ft Myers Beach/Sanibel/Captiva. Keep left to continue on Summerlin Rd. Continue onto McGregor Blvd. Continue onto Sanibel Causeway. Continue onto Causeway Blvd. At the four way intersection, continue straight onto Lindgren Blvd. When you reach the stop sign at E Gulf Dr, you should see the signs for Sanibel Inn/Dante’s straight ahead. If you are checking into Song of the Sea or Seaside Inn, make a left on E Gulf Drive. For Sunset Beach Inn, you can make a right on periwinkle, see addresses below.

Is there a cost/toll to enter Sanibel Island? 

Yes, there is a bridge toll to Sanibel for motor vehicles. Bicycles are free. There is no toll when leaving the island. For more information on the bridge and tolls, visit Lee County’s LeeWay website.

 

What does the Inns of Sanibel resort fee include?

There is a daily Activity Fee that varies by Inn: $35 for Sanibel Inn and Song of the Sea; $23 for Seaside Inn; $18 for Sunset Beach, plus occupancy and state tax per room. Services and amenities provided under the daily Activity Fee include:

What Sanibel Island restaurants do you have on property?

At the Sanibel Inn, we have Dante’s Coal Fired Pizza. They are open for breakfast from 8 – 11am and for dinner from 5 – 9pm. For more information click here

Additionally, we also have the Island Time Bar & Grill which is located poolside at the Sanibel Inn. Hours are from 11am – 7pm. Finally, the Dunes Golf & Tennis Club restaurant is open daily from 11am – 6pm.

 

Are all of the restaurants at the Inns of Sanibel open to the public?

Yes, all of our restaurants are open to the public.

 

Can I use the amenities from the other inns even if I am not staying there?

Yes, you are more than welcome to visit any of the other inns and use the amenities as long as you are a guest of the Inns of Sanibel.

 

What is The Inns of Sanibel pet policy?

Pets are not allowed at any of our Inns (Sanibel Inn, Song of the Sea, Seaside Inn, Sunset Beach) with the exception of service animals as defined by Title II and Title III of the ADA. Emotional Support Animals do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. A $250 penalty charge will be enforced if an animal is brought onto the property.

 

What is The Inns of Sanibel cancellation policy?

What time is check-out? Check-in?

Our check-out time is at 11am. Late check-out is based upon availability and may be subject to a $50/hour fee. Check-in time is at 4pm. However, should you arrive before then, we would be more than happy to store your luggage while your room is being cleaned and you can use the amenities of the resort.

 

What is your smoking policy?

Our properties are non-smoking in the room and on the balcony/terrace. A $250 fee is charged on non-compliance.

 

What is your cleaning policy? What are their hours?

Housekeeping service is available from 9am to about 5pm. We still offer limited service after 5pm.

We clean our rooms and public areas to the highest standards. With the onset of Covid-19, we are taking extra precautions to clean and sanitize high touch areas as well as equipping our staff with the correct PPE to prevent spread. Additionally, when possible, we assign rooms to allow one day between stays to allow our staff to thoroughly and safely clean, sanitize and prepare for upcoming arrivals. In order to further ensure your and our staff’s health and safety, we are offering linen exchange, replenishment of amenities, and emptying of your trash upon request throughout your stay. Normally, housekeeping service is available from 9am to 5pm and we offer limited service after 5pm.

 

Finally, we are blocking rooms after checkout whenever possible to allow our staff to clean, sanitize and correctly prepare them for upcoming arrivals.

 

I have stayed with you previously; can I request a specific room number?

Yes, if you have a special request for a room we will do our best to accommodate you. However, they are based upon availability and thus not guaranteed.

 

What time does the Beach Hut at the Sanibel Inn open?

The Beach Hut is open from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. They will assist our guests with setting up any beach chairs, umbrellas and provide towels. Please be advised that these items are first come, first serve.

 

Can I ship packages to the hotel?

Yes, you can send packages prior to your arrival. We kindly ask that you include your name, phone number and dates of your arrival on the package labels so we know to hold them for you.
